Spring Break discounts and deals

Flowers are blooming. Days are longer. Baseball is almost back. At some point in the near future, temperatures across the country will rise. Spring is upon us, which means one thing: Spring Break.

This annual ritual usually falls sometime between the beginning of March and mid-April. And whether people travel to a giant party of scantily clad beachgoers or to Paris for a romantic weekend of sightseeing, historically Spring Break has been a time to travel.

That’s good news for Expedia customers this year. Expedia.com booking data indicates that average air ticket prices during this period to certain top destinations are down from 2014. To put that differently, our numbers indicate that some of our most popular routes are cheaper now than they were at this same time last year.

Prices down across the board

Flights to Las Vegas? Down 10 percent. Flights to Los Cabos? Down 10 percent. Flights to Puerto Vallarta: Down 7 percent. And if you’re itching to go Acapulco, check this: Flight prices are down 18 percent.

To celebrate these cheap fares, we’ve put together a few promotions around hotels.
