Here are seven Texas-sized attractions to check out when you visit Dallas.
1. Billy Bob’s Texas
Two-step your way to Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky tonk. This cowboy heaven entertains over 6,000 people at a time with live concerts, a Texas-sized dance floor (complete with mirrored disco saddle), a bull riding arena, and over 30 bar stations to make sure no one ever goes thirsty.
2. World’s Largest Patio Chair
If all that dancin’ wore you out, take a rest in the World’s Largest Patio Chair, residing at Sunnyland Patio Furniture in Dallas.
3. State Fair of Texas
Over 3 million people visited the State Fair of Texas in 2015 to dine on a smorgasbord of fried foods—including fried butter and fried Coca Cola—and take in a few other giant attractions on this list.
4. Big Tex
“Big Tex” stands 55 feet tall and welcomes fairgoers in true larger-than-life Texas fashion.
5. Texas Star
A ride on the 212-foot-tall Texas Star Ferris wheel will let you take in Texas’ level landscape for miles and miles. It’s the third tallest Ferris wheel in the United States.
6. The Dallas Galleria
If you happen to be in Dallas during the holidays, you can see the World’s Largest Indoor Christmas Tree while you pick up some gifts in the 200+ stores in the Dallas Galleria mall.
7. Texas Motor Speedway
Get in some serious screen time at Texas Motor Speedway, home of the worlds largest HD screen. “Big Hoss TV” is 218 x 94.6 feet large to ensure you never miss any of the high speed action.
