Expedia.com Expedia, Inc. Announces Expanded Relationship with Sabre Travel Network

BELLEVUE, Wash. – May 5, 2004 – Expedia, Inc., an operating company of IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI), today announced it will expand its existing relationship with Sabre Travel Network, a Sabre Holdings (NYSE:TSG) company. In an agreement reached between Expedia and Sabre, a portion of Expedia’s bookings will be sent through the Sabre global distribution system (GDS). Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“Expedia’s rapid growth has created the need for us to diversify our GDS relationships,” said Erik Blachford, president and CEO of Expedia and IAC Travel. “Our GDS partnership with Worldspan, L.P. spans more than eight years and has been an important part of Expedia’s success. Worldspan remains a valued and trusted partner.”

The agreement builds on an existing relationship between Sabre and Expedia in which Sabre provides cruise connectivity to Expedia. It also builds on existing relationships between Sabre and various members of the IAC Travel family of companies, including Hotwire, Classic Custom Vacations and TravelNow.
