Expedia.com Expedia Named Most Popular Online Travel Service

BELLEVUE, WA, July 21, 2000 – According to Media Metrix, Expedia.com Travel is the number-one travel Web site with nearly 8.1 million unique visitors for 10.6% reach on the Web for the month of June. This represents a 26% increase in traffic from May and a 23% lead over the newly unified Travelocity/Preview Travel consolidated site.
