Expedia +VIP Access Hotels 2014
Spotlighting hotels worldwide for superior service, satisfaction
Comfy beds! Unbelievable service! Minibars with Yoo-hoo! Whatever the reasons, amazing hotels can make good vacations great.
That’s precisely why Expedia is so excited to announce the list of the Best of Expedia +VIP Access Hotels 2014. The +VIP Access program recognizes the premium hotels in Expedia.com’s portfolio that have the best customer satisfaction scores among Expedia+ rewards members. In short, these are the hotels about which our most loyal customers rave.
All told, more than 300 of our hotel partners in 120 destinations worldwide made this elite list, including The Gant in Aspen, Colorado; Encore at Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas; the Quin in New York City; and Hotel 1000 in Seattle.
There were dozens of international winners, too, in destinations ranging from Athens and the Seychelles to Dublin and Victoria, Australia.

Earning this distinction is serious business. Hotels garner these plaudits for a variety of reasons. Superior service is a biggie. Incredible amenities represents another. Personally, I prefer hotels with afternoon wine-and-cheese hours, and those with state-of-the-art fitness centers that stay open 24/7. I also like hotels with proven kids’ programs (which is why I'm a fan of the Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk in Honolulu).
For the purposes of this list, most qualifying scores correlate directly with customer satisfaction scores among Expedia+ rewards members.
What does this mean for you, the readers of this blog? For starters, when you click through to Expedia.com, you can identify a +VIP Access Hotel by the +VIP Access logo alongside the hotel listing. (You also can search hotels on the list by clicking here.)
What’s more, if you’re a member of the Expedia+ rewards loyalty program, you can expect a series of benefits when booking one of the +VIP Access Hotels on the list—perks including free meals or spa experiences, the potential for free room upgrades, late checkout upon availability, and other in-room courtesy items.
The bottom line: Booking one of the hotels on the Best of Expedia +VIP Access Hotels 2014 list is a strong commitment to facilitating an unforgettable vacation. What are you waiting for?
