Gearing up for Black Friday, Cyber Monday

Unveiling epic deals, amazing promotions in advance of busiest shopping days of year

We’re still a few weeks away from Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but Expedia has kicked off the holiday shopping season with details on two of its biggest sales of the year.

The sales, which take place November 25 and November 28, respectively, can save customers up to 90 percent with exclusive coupons on select hotel bookings and package deals to destinations such as Paris, Cancun, Las Vegas, New York, Punta Cana, and more. In many cases these are the biggest deals we’ve ever given.

I love Black Friday (and Cyber Monday, for that matter) because…well…because I love to shop. The fact that we also can give the gift of travel this year makes it extra-special.

The deals on hotels, flights, cruises, rental cars, and packages kick off promptly at  9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST on Black Friday.

Discounts on the Expedia app will offer the greatest savings over these days. On the app, travelers will find amazing hotel deals and a coupon that offers 75 percent on Black Friday and 90 percent on Cyber Monday. Coupons on the app are available while supplies last. So book quick!

Black Friday – November 25

On Friday, November 25, customers can save an additional 75 percent off on select hotels on the app with an exclusive coupon. These coupons are first-come, first-serve, and limited quantity and will start at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST sharp.

Looking for deals on activities? On Expedia’s Things To Do, we’re offering a $50 off $100 coupon starting at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST, while supplies last.

Cyber Monday – November 28

On Monday, November 28, you can catch even more deals with a 90 percent off select hotels coupon only on the Expedia app. Then, on top of that, there will be hourly coupons, and they will go fast. These hourly deals start at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST and will refresh every hour, on the hour, until 3 p.m. PST/6 p.m. EST. So, if you miss out one, you can keep coming back.

Activities on Expedia will also offer a $200 off $300 coupon, limited supply, starting at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST.

To make sure you don’t miss any of deals, since they are limited quantity, follow these steps to make sure you’re logged in and ready to start shopping!

Step 1: Log in to your account via the Expedia app. (Haven’t downloaded the app yet? Get on it!)
Step 2: On desktop, get the coupon code and choose one of the featured hotels on the landing page here.
Step 3: Book the hotel on the app and enter the designated public code at checkout to get the discount. Note that the offer is limited to one per customer.

Hi Sarah, will the Black Friday discounts apply to the bundle deals as well, or will they be solely applicable to hotel bookings?
