Video: Kids talk travel

Remember what it was like to be a kid? Everything was incredible and each moment was a thing of pure joy. Your viewfinder was a kaleidoscope, and your days were in technicolor. Your imagination was your paintbrush, and your backyard was your canvas. You created imaginary friends and dreamed about traveling to far away places. Disney sparked your curiosity and sense of adventure. If Aladdin could travel by magic carpet, of course, you could too.

Your folks planned the family vacation all year long, creating anticipation like no other, and you yearned for summer to arrive. A road trip became a competitive game of license plate bingo, with dad telling you to pipe down in the back. There were stops to see roadside oddities and shop for tchotchkes. It wasn’t exactly globe-trotting, but it was an idyllic time when lifelong memories were created.

Decades have passed, and while our adult lives have become a little more cluttered and complicated, it is the flashbacks to our childhood that keep us young at heart. These recollections have also given us a treasure trove of anecdotes to share with our kids and their kids, inspiring them to dream big and travel far and wide.

But, one of the things we love most, is getting the skinny on life from a kid’s perspective. Their innocent and often comical viewpoints bring a smile each and every time. Hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we enjoyed making it!
