New dimensions added to Expedia App
Incorporating 3D Touch iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus app

For all you Apple aficionados, we are excited to announce that we at Expedia have been hard at work adding a third dimension to the global Expedia app experience following the release of iOS 9. Now, customers using an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus can firmly press the Expedia app icon to dive right in and start tasks that are most valuable right from the home screen.
With the 3D Touch and subtle taps for the Expedia app you can view your trips, discover nearby hotels, get directions to your booked hotel, and share your flight status—all with a simple touch.
We want to make it super-simple for travelers to get where they want to go as quickly as possible. Booking is only the beginning of the story, and the Expedia app is designed to accompany you throughout your entire trip. Our app provides itineraries with real-time data for flights, deep integration with maps, and push notifications for the most relevant information.
Travel can be stressful and we do our best to make sure the Expedia app helps alleviate some of that stress. We’ve got it covered—just give the Expedia app a tap.
We are always experimenting with new app capabilities. Keep an eye on the Expedia Viewfinder blog and our engineering blog for more mobile and tech-related info in the future!
