Sharing photos from our RMNP adventure

Here are a few of our very favorite pictures, representing some of the favorite parts of our adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP).

Have a look and be sure to check out our other posts for more photos and for details on how we pieced together this snowy adventure in the great state of Colorado.

First order of business? Finding a good hike! We even found a frozen-over lake at the end.

The Stanley Hotel’s has many upscale touches.

RMNP had just celebrated it’s 100th anniversary.

Snow didn’t stop us!

We based ourselves in ultra-charming and outdoors-y Estes Park, Colorado (where The Stanley Hotel is located).

Always buy the t-shirt!

And then it was off to Denver for the “city” part of our adventure. The Hyatt Place downtown was a perfect base.

Love Mexican food? You must try Dos Santos in Denver.

Souvenir shopping in Denver.

A great reminder of the National Park Service’s centennial.

Comfort food goes well with any travel adventure.

We ended out journey with a walking tour of Denver.

How would you spend an adventure at a national park?
