Here are a few of our very favorite pictures, representing some of the favorite parts of our adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP).

First order of business? Finding a good hike! We even found a frozen-over lake at the end.

The Stanley Hotel’s has many upscale touches.

RMNP had just celebrated it’s 100th anniversary.

We based ourselves in ultra-charming and outdoors-y Estes Park, Colorado (where The Stanley Hotel is located).

And then it was off to Denver for the “city” part of our adventure. The Hyatt Place downtown was a perfect base.

Love Mexican food? You must try Dos Santos in Denver.

A great reminder of the National Park Service’s centennial.

Comfort food goes well with any travel adventure.

We ended out journey with a walking tour of Denver.
